- Apache/Tomcat/WebLogic/ADF installation & configuration Performance/Load testing.
- Monitored hacking attempts in production, utilizing tools such as hping, tcpdump, dsniff and netcat.
- Work experience on Unix, Windows, Linux and MS/DOS.
- Knowledge on Oracle Database (latest version preferable), MySQL.
- Experience on TCP/IP, SSH, Samba, SMTP , Telnet, FTP, LDAP, HTTP, HTTPS.
- Administrative knowledge of major J2EE technologies such as JDBC, JNDI, RMI, JMS, JMX.
- Project Activities
- Extending managed servers and sizing its JVM depending on the applications deployment.
- Trouble shooting network problems between servers (clustering fail over issues) Weblogic application servers and Web Servers.
- Bring-in changes in the deployment set-up with the existing hardware resources in order to achieve best performance of the Applications deployed.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the Web Server and the WebLogic Application Servers across all the environments.
- Technical skills
- View the server configuration, including the encrypted values of encrypted attributes.
- Modify the entire server configuration to suit the timely needs.
- Deploy enterprise applications, startup and shutdown classes, and Web Application, EJB, J2EE Connector, and Web Service modules.
- Start, resume, and stop servers by default or by using managed services.
- Development of load/stress/performance testing processes & procedures.
- Capable of writing code in JavaScript, perl, shell script, Python, Jython, SQL and WSTL.
